This site presents results, candidate profiles and aggregate analysis for the Tamil Nadu 2026 Legislative Assembly Election. It is a non-partisan public-interest project and a frontend showcase by Digispot AI.

Sources

• Constituency results, votes, margins, winner status — Election Commission of India (results.eci.gov.in), constituency-wise candidate pages for the Tamil Nadu 2026 General Election.
• Candidate photos — uploaded by candidates as part of their nominations and served from results.eci.gov.in.
• Affidavit details — total assets, liabilities, net worth, age, occupation, education, declared criminal cases — taken from public candidate disclosures available on the internet (affidavits filed with the ECI). Reproduced as declared. Not independently verified.

• 234 of 234 Tamil Nadu constituencies covered.
• 4,257 candidates indexed.
• Winner-level wealth available for 234 of 234 constituencies.
• 37 districts.

Methodology & known gaps

• Asset and liability values are declared, not market-valued or audited.
• Criminal-case counts are declared at filing; declaration is not a finding of guilt.
• A small number of affidavit fields on the source aggregator are rendered as images. We OCR-recovered them; tiny per-row inaccuracies are possible. The ECI website is authoritative.
• Live re-counts or court-ordered revisions after the snapshot are not reflected.

Theme & bias

The default theme is neutral grey. Party colours are an opt-in toggle (in the header). No party gets hero treatment. Won/lost badges use colour-blind-safe teal/slate, not red/green.
